The company damko Ventiltechnik was founded in 1990 by the joint partners Mr. F.-J. Hovestadt and Mr. H.-J. Latoschinski.

Initially, the aim of this partnership was the production and sales of damko's  patented segment disk valves.

The consistent further development of this valve type resulted in several different versions from various types of steel and ceramics, which were soon successfully used in the chemical, paper and food industries as well as in power stations.

From the very beginning, the company damko Ventiltechnik pursued the goal of equipping the segment disk valves with a custom-developed, completely automatic control mechanism in order to optimize the production process.

The company, with its comprehensive experience, has evolved from a pioneer to the current market leader in this sector.
